I have a cold. In fact, the cold, the one that's been slowly burning its way through the geology department. It got Dave (my fellow TA) last week, and my advisor, and one of the nice ladies from the office. To put it lightly, I feel like poop on a stick. I think I may just not go in tomorrow, since I've only got a BS class in the later afternoon. And I've already canceled my office hours.

The real question is... will I get any writing done when my brain has been replaced with snot?

Also, I want to write a ranty thing about The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo - the book version that is. As a sneak preview, the intended title of the post will be: "The Inescapable Gravity Well Surrounding Mikael Bomkvist's Penis." Or something along that vein.

Hope you feel better soon.

I look forward to reading whatever ranty thing you want to write about that book. I picked up the sequel in Chapters and read a few pages while waiting for my friend to finish her detailed perusal of the SF/Fantasy section. I did not buy it, but I was made curious. Your proposed rant title makes me even more curious.

heh, yeah, Blomqvist is by far the weakest link in the Millenium series, he's a classical male Mary Sue and was probably the authors dream alter ego or something...

I'm sorry you have a cold. If you can find chamomile green tea (Twinings and Celestial Seasonings both have made it in the past, but it's hard to find), it's the best stuff EVER.

I almost bought that book, but I wound up passing it up in favor of some paranormal romance instead. I should probably read it one of these days soon so I can be up on what everyone's talking about. But I still keep getting headaches, and the paranormal romance genre tends to have larger print that hurts less.
